"Is this thing on??" was one of the unofficial mottos of ActiveRadio, a student group of The Ohio State University dedicated to bringing college radio to the (then) largest campus in North America, circa 19-something and 5. We failed miserably. At least in the sense of starting a radio station students could actually hear. As for having fun, sharing lots of good music and general college hijinks, it was a great time. It was there I met T, someone who would change my life forever in many good ways.
I have a feeling this blog might be something like that. In a way, I hope so.
But in a good way. This is about as perfect a description of college radio as you're ever going to find, I'm planning on doing better than that.
